Nuevos colores Primavera 2021: una fiesta para la vista.

We started thinking on the new Spring 2021 colors amidst the most dark months of 2020, when despair and fear seemed to be all around us. So we started working on colors looking for hope, looking for joy. We wanted to take advantage of color’s emotional power, its mood changing capacity.

Comenzamos a trabajar en los nuevos colores de la primavera de 2021 en medio de los meses más oscuros del 2020, cuando la desesperación y el miedo se sentían muy cerca. Fue así que decidimos trabajar estos colores buscando esperanza y alegría. Queríamos aprovechar el poder emocional del color, su capacidad para cambiar el estado de ánimo.

At the time, many windows had children drawn rainbows with the phrase «it will be fine». Rainbows, pure be color beams that come after the storm, when the clouds are still there but the sun is finding its way. This should be our starting point! We used the 7 basic colors, in their brightest, funniest shades and started playing with them, mixing and dripping, without restrain.

En ese momento, en muchas ventanas, los niños dibujaban arco iris con la frase «todo va a salir bien». Arcoíris, rayos de colores que vienen después de la tormenta, cuando las nubes todavía están ahí pero el sol está encontrando su camino. ¡Este debería ser nuestro punto de partida! Usamos los 7 colores básicos, en sus tonalidades más brillantes y divertidas y empezamos a jugar con ellos, mezclando y «pintando» sin restricciones.

We applied those colors into our lighter yarns: Alma, Marina, Milo, Alegria, Serena. Don’t you love to see how a color changes from one yarn to the other?
The result was a party of color, bright, fun, unapologetic.

Aplicamos esos colores en nuestros hilos más finos: Alma, Marina, Milo, Alegria, Serena. ¿No les encanta ver cómo cambia un color de un hilo a otro?
El resultado fue una fiesta de color, brillante, divertida, sin timidez.

When the time came to take pictures of the new collection we had the phrase » a feast for the eye» in mind, and went for it quite literally. We accompanied the fresh, juicy colors, by fruit and drinks in a game of shape, color and light.
We had such a fun time shooting our new colors! we hope you enjoy them too.

Cuando llegó el momento de fotografiar la nueva colección, teníamos en mente la frase «una fiesta para la vista», y lo elegimos literalmente. Acompañamos de frutas y bebidas a estos nuevos colores frescos, «jugosos», logrando un juego de formas, colores y luces.
