Kit de tejido en dos agujas | Knitting Kit

Tenemos un nuevo kit de tejido con el que van a poder tejer el Chal Tyro, un diseño de nuestra amiga Luciana López  (@lucianaloop.knits). Este chal es ideal para quienes quieran probar nuevas técnicas en el tejido. Siguiendo sus instrucciones van a poder trabajar aumentos, disminuciones, calados y un particular cierre de puntos llamado cierre de cordón tubular. 

We have a new knitting kit with which you will be able to knit the Tyro Shawl, a design by our friend Luciana López (@ lucianaloop.knits). This shawl is ideal for those who want to try new knitting techniques. Following this instructions they will be able to work with increases, decreases, lace and a particular bind off called I-cord bind off.

Detalle del kit: 2 madejas de lana Alegria Grande (75% merino superwash, 25% nylon), 200 metros por madeja de 100 grs, agujas metálicas 5 mm, aguja de coser lanera, receta de tejido Tyro Chal.

Kit detail: 2 skeins of Alegria Grande (75% merino superwash, 25% nylon), 200 meters per skein of 100 grams, 5 mm metal needles, tapestry needle, Tyro Chal written pattern.

Aumento por Derecha / Make one Increase (M1R)

Empezamos con un video que muestra cómo realizar el aumento planteado en la cerrera 3: (1d, 1aum) x 3, 1d.

We start with a video that shows how to make the increase proposed in the row 3: (k1, M1) x 3, k1.

Aumento por Lazada | Yarn over increase

Continuamos con un video que explica cómo realizar un aumento por medio de una lazada. Este aumento aparece en todas las carreras del chal, uno en cada lateral, y dos en el medio a cada lado de un punto central.

We continue with a video that explains how to make a yarn over increase. This increase appears in several rows of this shawl, one on each side, and two in the middle on either side of a center stitch.

Cómo colocar el marcador. | How to place marker

Entender cómo colocar un marcador puede resultar difícil la primera vez que lo hacemos, y más si este se coloca seguido de un aumento por lazada, porque se genera un punto más laxo (flojo) que puede permitir que el marcador se corra de lugar en la carrera. Veamos estos videos para entender qué debemos tener en cuenta para que esto no suceda, tanto en la carrera del lado derecho como del lado revés.

Understanding how to place a marker can be difficult the first time we do it, especially if it´s placed followed by a yarn over increase, because a looser point is generated and this can allow the marker move in the row. Let’s see these videos to understand what we must take into account so that this doesn´t happen, both in right and wrong side.

Cómo realizar la lazada antes del marcador | How to make yarn over before marker

En la mayoría de las carreras del chal voy a tener que realizar una lazada antes del marcador, en este video les mostramos cómo hacerlo para que el marcador no se corra de lugar en la carrera, ya que si esto sucede empiezan a haber variantes que no me van a permitir seguir con la receta de forma regular y correcta.

In most of the shawl rows we will have to make a yarn over increase before the marker, in this video we show you how to do it, so that the marker doesn´t move in the row, because if this happens I will not be able to continue with the recipe regularly and correctly.

Cómo cambiar de color | Color change

El diseño del Tyro Chal se puede realizar con un color solo o con una combinación de colores, nosotros sugerimos que se empiece a tejer con un color, y que se cambie de color en el comienzo de cada Secuencia Base.

The Tyro Shawl design can be knitted with a single color or with a combination of colors, we suggest that you start knitting with one color, and change color at the beginning of each Base Sequence.

Lazada junto a dos puntos derechos juntos | Yarn Over and k2tog (knit two together)

En la cerrera 3 de la Secuencia Base se teje una lazada junto a dos puntos derechos juntos, para que no quede dudas hicimos un video explicando como tejer esto.

In the row 3 of the Base Sequence a yarn over is knitted together with k2tog (knit two together), so to make it very clear we made a video explaining how to knit this.

Cierre de cordón tubular | I-cord Bind Off

Por último les compartimos un video donde mostramos como realizar el cerrado de puntos sugerido en el patrón, el Cierre de Cordón Tubular. También les mostramos como realizar los aumentos con el método de montado de cable.

Finally we share a video where we show how to make the I-cord bind off suggested in the pattern.. We also show you how to make the increases with the Cast on cable method.
